February 25, 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Music teachers have to deal with an interesting range of differences amongst their students. Due to varying factors, learners may have different responses to the strategies applied during instrumental music lessons. With this, music teachers are constantly in quest for better ways to engage the students in the learning process, hence, the vast repertoire of teaching aids and methods available at present. Differentiating instruction during music lessons is a way of reaching to all the learners intuitively. Further, music teachers could practice differentiation to create appropriate accommodations and ensure that the delivery of instruction will be curated based on the needs and preferences of every learner. One way of differentiating music instruction is through making adaptations in the lessons based on students’ learning styles.
